SEDA College gets ISO 9001 seal of approval
SEDA College was awarded the ISO 9001 certificate last month becoming the first English language school in Ireland to receive this qualification. ISO 9001 is a quality management systems standard that is granted to organisations worldwide – some 1 million companies in 178 countries hold the quality mark. The certificate is only awarded after a rigorous business review ensuring that the organisation meets the needs of its customers and other stakeholders, while also meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to the product or service it provides.
“Receiving the ISO 9001 seal of approval represents an important achievement for SEDA College. It is the recognition of our teamwork and of the progress made by a team composed of more than 100 people, all committed to making our students’ experience in Dublin a pleasurable and memorable one,” said Netania Gomes from SEDA’s student support team.
The ISO 9001 certificate issued by NQA, a global certification body, is valid for three years. Throughout this period the College will undergo further reviews to ensure the standards of quality are maintained.
The new certificate is the latest addition to a number of other quality credentials that SEDA College has accumulated over the years. SEDA is one of just nine English language schools in Ireland to hold EAQUALS stamp of approval and it also holds ACELS – currently the highest quality mark for English language providers in Ireland.
In February 2015, SEDA College was recognised as the Best Language School in Dublin and Ireland by the independent review and ratings website EducationStars.com. The recognition was based on reviews, testimonials and ratings collected from international students in Ireland.
